Good To See You

Pen and acrylic paint collage on acrylic-painted paper, 42 × 29.7 cm, 2025

"Good to see you".

A phrase I often say to my son — simple words that hold both the immediacy of the present and the weight of years lived on the knife-edge of uncertainty.

One morning, my son woke and, quite unexpectedly, spoke the phrase back to me. It was a beautiful, moving affirmation of our bond and a reminder of the meaning that can live in the simplest exchanges.
