Being There grew out of the thought that often one of the most meaningful things we can offer someone who is feeling blue or experiencing loss or difficult times is our presence. That presence does not always have to be physical or shown through practical gestures. Sometimes it simply means letting someone know you are there, standing alongside them, and that they are not alone.
