In creating Conditions Within, I wanted to explore the shifting internal weather we experience, from moments of calm, excitement and anticipation to uncertainty, turbulence, burnout and renewal. I've used imagery such as butterflies, clouds, rain, sunshine and burnt trees to represent the contrasting conditions that can exist within us at the same time.

Bright Interruption is a collage made from fragments of my past works, reassembled through instinct and play. The piece reflects the idea that not all interruptions are unwelcome. Some are moments of brightness that shift the rhythm and open the way for something new. Others take the form of change, which can feel uncertain or a little scary, yet can often bring unexpected growth and renewal.

As it evolved, Inner Infrastructure became a reflection of the personal frameworks I've built to navigate daily life, including routines, compartmentalisation, creative practice, and an appreciation of moments of unexpected lightness and stillness.
Using hand-drawn marks, colour, pattern, geometric and abstract forms, I created a map of complexity held within structure. Each element sits within a larger framework and, ultimately, within the boundaries of the page.

Upward Turn grew out of the feeling that a day can start small and unremarkable, but then shift upward in ways you don't expect.
